Friday.
I love Friday.
I do have a TON to do this weekend though.
I need to:
Read/do my repsonse/homework assignment for WNS.
Finish my regionalism story/read the rest of the Jewett novel for Realism.
Study for the Geology exam of death for Tuesday.
Work on my group exercise for Fiction.
And, to round out the tons of things I have to get done,
Work on my workbook/study for the Chapter 8 test for Spanish.
Yay life.
Haha.
Plus--my mom and I are going to Kennesaw tomorrow to play, because we haven't seen each other, really, in like two weeks, and I miss her.
And, Hannah and I are making t-shirts for Tuesday. BAH! NCIS. I'm so excited.
And... yes, another and... Mark's birthday is Sunday, so there are celebrations.
It's going to be a jam-packed weekend for sure.
So, I have to administer a test for Dr. McKenzie today. I'm not so sure how I feel about that, but we'll see how it goes. I'm going to take a book and read or something.
I don't have anything else interesting to say.
Other than: Jimmy Carter is the man.
yep.

I got an A on my first Mejia exercise!!!!
p.s. It's that alternate ending thing I posted a while back--check it out if you missed it.
Man, I am so loving that class. We did text fiction yesterday. So much fun. What that means, basically, is that we come up with a one to two sentence story and text it to all the people in our class and everyone we normally text--and we get everyone else's in class. It's been fun today getting all of them, and getting all the responses from the people not in my class. Things like "What?!?" Haha. Nice.
Mine was: "He stood back and watched the boat turn from beautiful cedar into nothing but dark, grey ash. He never should have named it after an ex-wife."
We have a voice exercise due tomorrow--we have to start the same basic story from three different viewpoints--only the first paragraph. The first is a first person, young voice at the time of the incident, the second first person, same character 20-30 years later remembering the incident, and the third, a third person limited on a different character--a witness of the incident. It's cool. Maybe I'll post it when I'm done.
Bah. So, I have to admit--I took the day off today. I didn't go to class or work. Probably not the best idea, but you know... I just sort of needed it. I think it will be good, because it meant I could study for Geology and also get a head start on my Local Color story for Realism. It was/is good.
Well--back to it.
Love love.
SAC
p.s. MY TOMS COME TODAY. Sooooon. They should be delivered by 5--that's usually when the UPS guy comes. I'm getting so excited. I'm probably going to wear them everyday of my life.
Yep.
