I need to get out of the house tomorrow. I didn't leave once today. I didn't even go outside. Really, Sarah? Really? Lazy bum. I did read a lot, which is good.
Sigh.
It's only been Summer break officially for like two days [although it's weird to think I was still in school a week ago; everything feels really different now for some reason] and I've already got cabin fever. Thankfully this whole lazy thing will only last for a while long, and then I'm OUT OF ROME for like two months. Thank God.
Tomorrow I'm supposed to have lunch with Jon. That should be interesting considering I've barely spoken to him in over three weeks. Then I have something I have to do with my dad and Erin to help them prepare for the thing they're doing at the conference. Not a very exciting day, but at least I'll be out of the house. Hmm.
Thursday I'm working. Friday I'm hopefully [cross my fingers] going to Atlanta to see Kim and Rachel. Saturday it's work again. Blah.
I wish I had something profound to say. I fail at that.
So, I miss my friends. Yeah, yeah... it's only been like three days since I've seen most of them, but, I do miss them. It's been weighing me down strangely. It will be really good for me to see Erin tomorrow. Hell, it will be good for me to have human contact with someone other than my parents who've been my only contact, really, for the past three or so days.
I'm going to work on writing tomorrow some, I think. That could be good.
Anyway, I don't have anything else to say.
Love love.

Book List.
Thanks to all of my wonderful friends, I've come up with a list of books I'm going to try and read this summer. I don't know if I'll get to all of them or I may get to all of them and read even more, who knows, but here's the list as it stands.
The book, author, and the person who suggested it:
Salem Falls by Jodi Picoult-Ruthy Countryman [Reading this right now]
Under the Overpass and it's companion My 30 Days Under the Overpass by Mike Yankoski-Emily Williams [this will be an project I do with Emily, so it's sort of not really part of the list...]
Tuesday's with Morrie by Mitch Albom-Rachel Childs
Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer-Heather Sanders
Interpreter of Maladies by Jhumpa Lahiri-Kaitlin Beard
The Water Will Hold You by Lindsey Crittenden-Meg Olive
The Life of Pi by Yann Martel-Lauren Wright
The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfiled-Amanda Carman
The Historian by Elizabeth Kastova-Hether Scheel
The Tao of Pooh by Benjamin Hoff-Chelsea Knost/Keith Brooks
A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith-Kim Curl
Slaughterhouse Five by Kurt Vonnegut-Cory Johnson
The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger-Lauren Jones
The Chosen by Chaim Potok-Cory Brooks
The Giver by Lois Lowry- Keith Brooks
Jesus' Son by Denis Johnson-Emma Harr
The Red Tent by Anita Diamant-Erin Dubyak
The Color Purple by Alice Walker-Lizzie Hill
I'm going to try and cross one off the list a week, if not two a week. We'll see. I do have a few books I want to reread this summer and those are:
Catcher In The Rye by JD Salinger because it's my favorite.
HP and Half-Blood Prince by JK Rowling before the movie comes out.
The Simarillion by JRR Tolkien since it's amazing.
Homebody/Kabul by Tony Kushner, which is a play, but is amazing and wonderful.
So, we'll see if I can read it all. I'll have lots of time, aside from the two weeks I'm on the road trip, since I, unfortunately, can't read in the car. But, nights in the hotels... I can read there. Haha. Anyway, if I want to get it all done, I should get off of here and go read, right?
I'll post when I finish a book, if I have time.
Love love.
