Life.

A pretty fantastic quote from Bobby himself:
"But suppose God is black? What if we go to Heaven and we, all our lives, have treated the Negro as an inferior, and God is there, and we look up and He is not white? What then is our response?" -Robert Kennedy

So, this week has been good so far.

Monday was good. Hung out with Logan for the first time in ages. That was funtimes. We went to Berry and walked around for ages. It was so pretty outside. Then we Wal-Marted and went to Sonic for lunch. Then we went to Barnes and Noble for a longtime. Then I ate dinner with Chels, since she was here. We scrounged around in Erin and Sonya's [she was staying there] kitchen and found some tortellini. Then we watched Princess Bride, since it was on TV and that was fun. Then we went to WaHo and had story of our life time, which was crazy fun. It was great to spend some real time with her. Been missing her lately.

Then Tuesday I ate lunch with Ellen Willis, who I've not seen in over a year. It was so good to catch up with her. We talked about so much. It was seriously like we'd not missed a day. We picked up right where we left off. We're going to try and stay in touch, for real this time. She's Camp Glission-ing this summer, so I'm going to write to her while she's there. Fun. Then after lunch I went over to the theatre and helped Dad and Erin with their thing for the conference. After that I met up with John Burnette for dinner at Quiznos. Then we went over to Barnes and Noble where we saw my Dad and Erin. That was funny. After that I went to movie watch with Erin at her house, but we couldn't figure out how to work the DVD player, so we just watched TV instead.

Yesterday I was supposed to hang out with Courtnee, but something happened, and we didn't, but that's all right, because I ended up going to dinner and to Starbucks with Lindsey Glass. Then I hung out with Terry last night. Funtimes.

Today was a nothing day. It was nice, but also strange since I've seen people every day this week and then today I didn't see anyone except my parents. But, ah well. It's been a nice day, nonetheless.

Tomorrow should be grand. Hanging out with Olivia Bradford during the day tomorrow. Then Holly is coming over for dinner and to meet the animals since she's taking care of them while we're traveling around the US and Canada.

Saturday is work at The Nest. Then who knows? Maybe shopping in Cartersville with Mom? We have some last minute stuff we need to get done, so we might go do that. If not on Saturday, we'll do it on Sunday.

Next week is going to be a lot packed into a small amount of time. Cumming on Monday. Packing starts Tuesday. Erin will be up here on Wednesday, we'll have one more practice. Then we leave Thursday. We leave Thursday. Bah! Seven days! Well, sort of less than seven days, since by this time next week we'll be in Ohio at the Gorman's eating dinner or something. Oh my goodness. I'm so excited. Plus, I'll be getting the journal back from Emily sometime at the beginning of the week, so I can take it on the trip! Whoo! Man, I'm really getting excited.

Anyway... I'm going to watch a movie with my mother now, so I guess that I'm going to wrap this up

Love love.

So. I'm thinking it's time for some more old pictures.

Most of these are from Freshman year of college.

This is from that same day when I dressed up to take pictures with Court. I love this.

I have a strange affinity for this picture, even though I look sad. I think it has something to do with the fact that my hair looks really great. And is so long.

Oh, Harrison. I love that kid.

Heidi, oh, how I miss her.

And this is from when Chels and I went to Dragon Con right before Sophomore year, and is really here only to demonstrate how long my hair was at it's longest. Right before I chopped it all of in the fall of that year.

Anyway, I'm enjoying going through all the old pictures. After my whole xanga reading fest I went back through a bunch of picture folders on my computer and found these. So great.

Funtimes.

Eight days, kids. I'm excited.

Love love.

Old pictures.

In my readings of my old xanga entries I came upon several pictures I hadn't seen in a while, and thought I'd share them.

Me and Logan at the Senior Theatre Awards Banquet my senior year of high school. Ha. I'm hanging out with him tomorrow for the first time FOREVER.

Me and Benny, also at the awards banquet. Miss him. This is one of my all time favorite pictures ever.

Me and Ellen Willis at Atlanta Fest summer between Senior year and Freshman year of college. JoJo took this. Aw... I miss both of them.

When Courtnee went to prom and wanted me to take pictures with her, so I dressed up just to take pictures. Haha. Man. My hair was sooo long. I miss it.

Me and Christy in Yearbook senior year. This is my favorite picture of the two of us.

Me and Annie outside Jeffersons one weekend she came to visit senior year. My hair! Goodness.

I can't believe how different I look now. It's crazy.

Anyway. I'm done.

Love love.

Hmm.

Here's a fun picture from the theatre banquet. Fun times.

Friday was a good day. I went to Marietta and hung out with Kim and Rachel! So much fun. We went over to Buckhead and went to Lenox, which was crazy. It was seriously like culture shock. The have a freaking Louis Vitton store. Bah. I wanted to punch all the snooty rich housewives in the face though. But, it was so good to see my friends and to have human contact other than my parents. Haha. So, I left around 8:30, and it was sort of raining, nothing to bad. I get to around Kennesaw and it starts POURING. It was brutal. So, I stop off at Christy's for like 10 minutes thinking that it will just blow over. It does. So I leave. Turns out that it "blew over" to Rome. I get to Floyd County on 411 and it starts HAILING. Yes, HAILING. I drove in hail. I've never experienced anything quite so terrifying IN MY LIFE. I finally got home and felt safe again. Haha.

Yesterday I worked all day at The Nest. It was a long day.

So, this morning I went back and read all the old entries on my old xanga from my junior and senior years in high school [I was bored, okay?].Weird stuff. It's so interesting to read all of that and to see who my friends were and how things changed from junior to senior year. Once I got to December of 2005, it was hard to read from then on, because of how rough everything was then. The spring of 2006 was the hardest stuff to read. I had forgotten how much pain I was in.

It makes me glad things are where the are now. It also lets me know that I've grown a lot, and I've learned from all the things I went through. It's so strange how much I've changed from then. HA, I've also gotten so much better at writing on a blog. My grammar was TERRIBLE then. I kept reading and thinking, "What the hell, Sarah? Did you really write that?!"

Anyway, after I was all nostalgic about that, I went shopping with my mother, which was great fun. =]. I got a pretty fantastic pair of linen pants that I'm in love with.

So, Emily went Skydiving today! I'm jealous of her! But, also not... I probably wouldn't have been about to go through with it had I been there. But, I'm glad she's safely back down on the ground now. =].

That's all for now. This week is going to be boring. Ah, well.

11 days! Whoo!

Love love.
